- The Roman fonts used in this site are Linux Biolinum (headings) and Adobe’s Ten Oldstyle (running text; served by Adobe Fonts, formerly known as Typekit).
- The Japanese typefaces are Adobe’s Ten Mincho and Ten Mincho Text, Source Han Serif (some headings), and Source Han Sans (headings), all served also by Adobe Fonts. Note that the Source Han fonts are available for free (follow the link).
- Background images. I got the patterns around the edges of the “scroll” and the bands across the top and bottom from Komon-ya (小紋屋). The background of the text area is a scan of a sheet of hand-screened Izumogami, a type of traditional Japanese paper.
